A brief overview of The Best of Oxford:-
Isis Van Man is of interest to us as one of the "best" via personal experience.  I actually booked you for a friend of mine who moved from Adderbury to Oxford last summer and who couldn't afford a conventional removal co. I was there on the day and your 2 men and van were fantastic. They were quick, careful and very friendly.  In fact the quality of service wasn't any different to the larger removal companies I have used in the past.

The parents are reasonably settled. Yes, everything did go in perfectly! Masses of cupboards to stash all those pictures.

I would like to say a huge thank you to you and your team. Very professional, helpful, thoughtful. Everything went according to plan, and very smoothly, starting with the recycling on Monday. I can't believe I downsized them by a third of their possessions. At the other end everything got put where required and my band of helpers were most impressed, one in particular who had moved recently saying he'd had a very different experience. So thank you to you and your team for making a far from easy move run like clockwork.. I felt in such good hands that what could have been an exhausting and stressful experience was actually quite pleasurable!!!

Dear Graham,

I just wanted to write and let you know how happy Dave Lyons and I were with your moving services on 15.8.09 from Long Crendon to Oxford. As it was an hourly rate, we were wondering if there was going to be any attempts to make the move longer than necessary, but it was much quicker than we thought it could be done in!

There were three men who helped move, unfortunately I do not know any of their names, but they were very polite, professional, and efficient and all of our belongings arrived safely and were treated with care. We were so relieved to be able to sit back and not worry about things getting broken (as has happened in the past!).

I will definitely be using your company for future moves and am more than happy to boast how great you were to friends who will hopefully be using your company as well!

Insurance

We are fully insured ("for hire or reward insurance") to provide these services.Our insurance polices meet the criteria as set down by the British Association of Removers (BAR). We carry our own separate insurance ("goods in transit insurance") for your possessions whilst they are being carried by us. Each removal is covered for loss or damage whilst in transit to a maximum £50,000 of our customers belongings during transit stage of your move,subject to an excess charge of £250.00 per claim. Our Storage Insurance is £250,000. We have public liabilty insurance of £10,000,000.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct insurance values in place for their belongings. Please check with and advise your household contents policy issuer prior to your move as you will find that all good home contents insurance policies cover domestic removals.

Our Luton Box Vans- Size information

Approximate Internal Loading Space;

Each Luton van holds up to 75-100 sq.ft or up to 20 cubic metres usally big enough to move a two bedroom flat or house in one single delivery!

A Luton Van is a 3.5t van with a box body that extends over the cab. These have a bigger, more flexible load space than a panel van and they are ideal for furniture and household moves.

Loading Box Dimensions:
4.00 metres long
2.10 metres high
2.00 metres wide

As well as the men and the van, we provide with your removal, heavy dury removal blankets, sack trucks for moving your heavy items and white goods safely, full tool kits to ensure we can unscrew that double bed and of course our special care service.
